There are many Apple Watch bands coming around, but we figured we should start with the first party options, and the one that intrigued us most, was the oft hyped, loop bracelets.

There are two styles, the first being a metal mesh loop (milanese loop), and the second being a far less seen version, the leather loop. We got to try out the leather loop option and came away very impressed.

The biggest issue, which is relatively minor, is the leather on leather can create a bit of a rub which depending can feel like a very slight vibration, causing you to wonder if something needs your attention. This is something that may dissipate over use, however.

Pros

  • High quality leather
  • Different colors
  • First party so guaranteed will work with Apple Watch
  • Magnetic so no clasp

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Not waterproof
  • Only 42mm
