Looking for some new headphones? Well you aren't shy on choices but one of the most popular headphones out there is the Beats Solo 2. The wireless version is nearly identical but adopts bluetooth to wirelessly connect to your laptop, phone, or Apple TV.

This is an independent review. NOT a paid endorsement

Beats aren't for everyone. We can get that out of the way first. But for the millennial generation, boosted bass is almost essential and that is what Beats have been known for. It still has clear highs, but the definitely not true to the original recording.

They pack quite a punch though and if you are looking for bass heavy on ear headphones that won't trip you with a long aux cord, then the Solo 2 may be a good option. Quality has definitely increased from their early years and the muted colors are a bit more palatable for the unadventurous.
