The Hue lineup this year is really starting to fill out. The end of 2015 brought with us a new version of the Lux bulbs that are brighter and rounded, new standard Hue bulbs that are brighter, lighter, and with better color, a new dimmer switch, and even the new bridge with HomeKit and Siri integration! Quite a list! Rounding out that list is the new Lightstrip Plus.

The new lightstrip is quite an upgrade. The new version offers a significant increase in brightens, going from 120 lumens in the original, to now maxing out at 1,600. It also has adjustable whites. Ranging from the warm yellows, to cool blues.

Aside from better colors overall, the last improvement is the ability to now cut, or extend the strips. You can cut in predefined marked spots to shorten, or add up to 8 extensions to create a string of LEDs up to 10 meters in length.
