I love photography/videography and while I have a few worker cameras for my professional work, what I realistically carry around day to day is my smartphone. The optical stabilization is a major reason I jumped up to the 6 Plus. So when I started looking around for a lens for my smartphone, I wanted the best of the best.

This review will pertain specifically to the Moment Wide Angle lens, though we also reviewed the Moment Tele lens.

What I really like about the wide angle lens is that there is almost no distortion. Whether close up interior shots or large landscapes. They manage this by making the diameter of the lens wider, so where there would be distortion is outside the frame captured by the image sensor on your device.

I also really like the build quality. It is fantastic. The outside of the lens is solid metal and there is a 5 element, 4 group glass lens system inside that feels very much like a miniature DSLR lens I'd sport on my Nikon.

They even have a bayonet system similar to a DSLR. There is a marker on the lens that you align, then rotate clockwise to lock into place.
