I love photography/videography and while I have a few worker cameras for my professional work, what I realistically carry around day to day is my smartphone. The optical stabilization is a major reason I jumped up to the 6 Plus. So when I started looking around for a lens for my smartphone, I wanted the best of the best.

This review will pertain specifically to the Moment Tele lens, though we also reviewed the Moment Wide Angle lens.

The zoom lens will give you a 2x optical zoom on your images, which is much preferred to using the digital zoom on your device. When you pinch and use digital zoom, you are decreasing the resolution of the image, which results in a less clean image. Using a lens gives you optical zoom, which is achieved with precise elements in the lens to bring the image closer, while still retaining clarity.

I also really like the build quality. It is fantastic. The outside of the lens is solid metal and there is a 4 element, 4 group glass lens system inside that feels very much like a miniature DSLR lens I'd sport on my Nikon.

They even have a bayonet system similar to a DSLR. There is a marker on the lens that you align, then rotate clockwise to lock into place.
